Position Title: Alarm Technician
Location: New Jersey (Monmouth, Somerset and Hunterdon)
Job Description:
Our client is a leader in sales, service, manufacture and installation of ATMs, electronic and physical security systems, and card transaction technology to financial institutions. They are currently searching for an Alarm Technician for a full-time position in New Jersey (Monmouth, Somerset and Hunterdon areas). The Technician will be troubleshooting, reporting, scheduling, and performing all necessary repairs and maintenance on conventional equipment at customer sites for alarms, cameras, DVRs and card access. The Alarm Tech will provide customer contact for all post-installation problems, service calls, and preventive maintenance. This position requires prioritizing and planning, accurately reporting service data and complying with quality checklists.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Team-oriented individual possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering.
A minimum of two years experience, shift adaptability and good customer relations skills are necessary. Valid alarm license is a plus!
The candidate will be required to travel to various locations throughout Somerset, Hunterdon and Monmouth counties. This position may require the candidate to perform some physically demanding tasks and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This is a temp to perm position that may require use of personal car until a company car is available.
