Position Title: Project Manager
Location: Cambridge, MA

Job Description:
A nationwide healthcare communication provider is searching for a Project Manager who will be responsible for ensuring customers realize value throughout the successful execution of projects.  They will be responsible for the following:

• Standardized project management approach – manage all aspects of the project life cycle from external client implementation to internal non-revenue based projects
• Directly manage a team of system designers, analysts, software engineers and quality assurance engineers
• Examine and refine the project methodology used on engagements
• Implement healthcare e-commerce applications within a pre-defined work plan and rapid delivery methodology
• Work closely with teams to deliver system integration services needed to facilitate web-based transaction processing between physician offices and their trading partner networks

Skills Required:
Candidates must have experience with the following:

• At least three years of experience as a Project Manager (including management of external clients)
• Series of software development lifecycles (SDLC) – at least 5
• Previous management of at least five personnel of varying roles at one time
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience developing and managing project plans
• Leadership of organization matrix
• Financial / Project Budget management
• Strong analytical and judgment skills, with the ability to make sound decisions
• Proactive and strategically oriented individual with experience in all stages of project management
• Demonstrate a strong customer focus for both external and internal customers
• Strong capacity for understanding and factoring or technical and business information
• Strong negotiation skills
• Team player who is proactive, self-motivated and works well under pressure
• Excellent oral, written, analytical and customer service skills

Education:                  
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
